As a staff and Governor team we are very proud of the Section 5 Ofsted report from February 2024 and how we have responded to the previous one day monitoring Inspection in 2022.

This report reflects how we feel about our school with school leaders, Governors and the inspection team agreeing on all judgements that were made across the two days. We are so proud of the Outstanding Personal Development judgement as this encompasses the work of the whole school community. Without the PTFA support, volunteers, parental transport support, effective partnerships with external agencies, schools and industry our pupils would not have the experiences we are able to offer across the 7 years we work with your children. The pupils were also amazing across the two days and articulated how they felt about being an Abington pupil. The staff team demonstrated our school values impeccably and were a credit to themselves and how well they cooperate and care for the children and their families.

We are very proud to have achieved a Level 5 RHS Schools Gardening Award within 18 months of developing our amazing outdoor growing area. Well done to all the pupils, staff and incredible volunteers. We look forward to sharing more news with you over the coming months.

We are very proud to announce that last Summer we were awarded the PSQM GILT accreditation. As a small school this is a fantastic achievement and only possible through the cooperation and collaboration with the whole school community.
