Abington Annexe operates three services to the local community: Abington Preschool, Abington Community Out of School Club and Abington Annexe Sports Holiday Club.

Abington Preschool
We are a small, friendly setting situated within the grounds of Abington Primary School.
We are open Monday to Friday during term time for children aged 2 to school age. Sessions run from 8:50 am till 2.50 or 3.00 pm.

We accept 15 and 30 hour early years funding as well as 2 year old funding.

Fees from September 2022:

Regular 2 year old booking: £5.50 / hour

Casual 2 year old booking: £6.00 / hour

Regular 3 / 4 year old booking: £5.00 / hour

Casual 3 / 4 year old booking: £5.50 / hour

Additional charges are made for registration (£25.00) and any parent(s) who wish to take advantage of the additional 10 minute late pickup (£1).

Abington Community Out of School Club (GAPS)
GAPS works alongside Great Abington Primary School, offering after school care for Primary school aged children.
We provide after school care from after school until 5:10 pm during term time.
Your child can attend for as many or as few hours as you need, either on a regular or a casual basis. You can even call us on the day – we flexibly support busy families.
GAPS provides a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for children to play, learn and develop freely. Daily activities are tailored for different age groups, with a separate area for our older children to chill, chat or do homework.

Fees from September 2022:

Regular booking: £5.60 / hour (sibling rate £4.30 / hour)

Casual booking: £6.40 / hour (sibling rate £5.10 / hour)

Holiday Club
Abington Annexe Sports runs school holidays (including half terms). We welcome children from Reception year to 14 years of age.
We run an action-packed schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a range of sporting activities catered for different ages including swimming pool sessions for the summer holiday. Also available are arts and crafts, and a quiet time after lunch. The GAPS and Holiday Club building (Abington Annexe) is situated at the far end of the school playground, and we are fortunate to enjoy access to the tyre park and trim trail within the school grounds. We also take the children to the park just behind our building.

Holiday, Activity and Food (HAF) funded spaces are available for eligible children during some holidays.

Fees from September 2022:

Full day booking: £30.00 / day (sibling rate £25.00 / day)

Half day booking: £15.00 / day (sibling rate £12.50 / day)
