School Clubs

Early Morning Breakfast Club

At Great Abington Primary School we run a daily activity / breakast club for up to 16 pupils. As part of the provision your child(ren) will have access to a range of breakfast items including: bagels, toast, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals, milk, orange or apple juice. Activities range from sports, craft, art and construction and will be indoor or outdoor depending on the weather. Further details will be sent through once your child(ren) is / are signed up. If you have any questions please do contact the school office.

 

This provision is open to all children of Great Abington Primary School in Reception to Year 6.

 

Pricing Model (from September 2024)

Regular booking: £5.60 per session (£4.30 for a sibling)
Casual booking: £6.40 per session (£5.10 for a sibling)

 

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7.45am - 8.40am

 

After School Clubs

 

At Great Abington Primary School we have a full programme of after school enrichment clubs. These include sporting, activity and cultural opportunities for all our pupils. If your son or daughter is in receipt of the Pupil Premium grant the school will support with the cost. If you are unsure whether your son / daughter is entitled to Pupil Premium funding please do contact the school office before booking for clubs run by Great Abington Primary School.

Note: once you have booked and paid for a club then your child(ren) is/are on the register for that club.

After School Sports Clubs

Run by Great Abington Primary School (£4.00 per club / £2.00 per club for Pupil Premium pupils)

 

Monday 3.10pm - 4.00pm y Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2 only) - Football 

(Dates: 13th January 2025, 20th January 2025, 27th January 2025, 3rd February 2025 & 10th February 2025 - 5 sessions only)

 

Tuesday 3.10pm - 4.00pm Key Stage 1 (Years 1 & 2 only) - Dodgeball 

(Dates: 21st January 2025 & 28th January 2025 - 2 sessions only)

 

Wednesday 3.15pm - 4.15pm Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 only)  - Football 

(Dates: 15th January 2025, 22nd January 2025, 29th January 2025, 5th February 2025 & 12th February 2025 - 5 sessions only)

 

Thursday 3.15pm - 4.15pm Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 only)  - Running

(Dates: 16th January 2025, 23rd January 2025, 30th January 2025, 6th February 2025 & 13th February 2025 - 5 sessions only)

 

Friday 3.15pm - 4.15pm Key Stage 2 (Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 only)  - Dodgeball 

(Dates: 17th January 2025, 24th January 2025, 7th February 2025 & 14th February 2025 - 4 sessions only)

 

Notes:

Children need to meet Mr Waterson at the outdoor classroom once their class has been dismissed. 

When after school clubs finish please collect your child from Mr Waterson from the back playground.

Children to wear sports clothing suitable for the weather conditions and club they are attending (school PE kit is not necessary for these clubs).

All clothing should be named and in a named bag. Before the club children will change within school.

 

If your child would like to join an after school club this summer term, please book via ParentPay.  Booking will be available from 2pm on Monday 6th January 2025.
