Incredible Years Course - Autumn Term 2024

Incredible Years is for parents of children aged 5-11 including those with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism.


This course aims to strengthen parent-child interactions and attachment, reduces harsh discipline and fosters your ability to promote your childs social, emotional and academic development.

 

There is no cost for this course.

 

To be held at : Great Abington Primary School, 68 High Street, Great Abington, CB21 6AE

 

Coffee afternoon to complete pre-course paperwork:

5th September 2-3pm

 

The ten week course starts: Thursday 12th September
1:00pm - 3:00pm (arrival: 12:45pm) with no session during half term

 

This course will be delivered by a Targeted Support Family Worker and an Early Intervention Family Advisor.

  • The Incredible Years Parenting Program The Incredible Years® evidence-based early intervention parenting programs focus on strengthening parenting competencies and fostering parent involvement in children’s school experiences, to promote children’s academic, social, and emotional skills and reduce conduct problems.
  • Parenting courses - Cambridgeshire County Council The Incredible Years Webster Stratton course is supported by paediatricians. It can have a positive impact on all children. It includes information for those with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and Autism
