Please find below information on how our school organises the resources it has to ensure the best possible outcomes for all pupils.
To enable us to run 5 classes effectively and within our budget, we split the Year 1 and Year 4 cohorts. This is done by chronological age primarily, although during the Summer 1 half-term we will consider SEND and Social Care needs across the cohorts and discuss any changes to the chronological criteria with parents / carers.
Our strategic leadership teams (Governors and Staff) are committed to an outstanding transition for Year 6 pupils in order that they are ready for the next stage of their education. To support, challenge and nurture the pupils in their transition year, we therefore have a 20 pupil class for Year 6.
If you have any questions about our structures or the rationale behind our decision-making, then please do come and speak with us at school.
