Abington Annexe operates three services to the local community: Abington Preschool, Abington Community Out of School Club and Abington Annexe Sports Holiday Club.

Abington Preschool
We are a small, friendly setting situated within the grounds of Abington Primary School.
We are open Monday to Friday during term time for children aged 2 to school age. Sessions run from 8:30am till 2.50 or 3.00pm.

We accept Universal Funding (15 hours per week), 2-year-old working parent entitlement (15 hours per week), Funded 2's and the 30 hours Working Parent Entitlement Funding.

Fees from September 2025:
Regular 2-year-old booking: £9.80 / hour
Casual 2-year-old booking: £10.68 / hour
Regular 3 / 4-year-old booking: £8.25 / hour
Casual 3 / 4-year-old booking: £8.98 / hour

Abington Out of School Club (OOSC)

OOSC works alongside Great Abington Primary School, offering after-school care for children from the age of 3 years old to 11 years old.
We provide after-school care from after school until 5:30 pm during term time.
Your child can attend for as many or as few hours as you need, either on a regular basis or a casual basis. You can even call us on the day – we flexibly support busy families.
OOSC provides a happy, safe, warm and stimulating environment for children to play, learn and develop freely. Daily activities are tailored for different

Holiday Club

Abington Annexe Sports runs school holidays (including half terms). We welcome children from 3 years old to the end of year 6.
We run an action-packed schedule from 8:15am to 5:00pm with a range of sporting activities, crafts and outdoor play, catering for different ages. Over the summer holiday club we also offer daily swimming pool sessions. The Abington Annexe Community Childcare building is situated at the far end of the school playground, and we are fortunate to enjoy access to the tyre park, growing area, den building area, playground and trim trail within the school grounds. We also take the children to the park just behind our building.

Fees from September 2025:

Full-day booking: £35.20 / day (sibling rate £29.85 / day)

Half-day booking: £18.13 / day (sibling rate £15.38 / day) Morning session

Half-day booking: £17.07 / day (sibling rate £14.47 / day) Afternoon session

Holiday, Activity and Food (HAF) funded spaces are available for eligible children during some holidays.
