Swimming
Swimming is a life skill that we know is very important for all our children especially as we have water within our locality. Being confident around water supports pupils development both physically and mentally. Our swimming pool is an ideal size for Primary aged children to learn the core skills of swimming strokes and water safety whilst also having many opportunities to enjoy being in and around water.
Our swimming pool is heated and is open from the start of June to the end of August each year. Classes typically will have three sessions per week for the last Summer half term 2 and we run daily clubs and weekend and holiday passes for children. Please find our swimming expectations in terms of clothing here.
Note: verrucas - please ensure that your child either wears a sock or has a water proof plaster to cover the site of the verruca (advice taken from Swim England).
Note: Swimming hats are required and available from the school office, purchased via ParentPay.

In cooperation with the PTFA we are able to offer swimming passes for weekends and holiday times during June, July and August. Details of the programme can be found below.
