Children in Classes 3, 4 and 5 had a taste of life in Victorian times when we visited the village of Stibbington.
Each child, dressed in Victorian costume, took on the identity of a real child enrolled at Stibbington School in 1896. We then used some of the original documentation to find out about the childrens' families and walked around the village to see where they lived. We even managed to find one or two buried in the churchyard.
A very memorable part of the day was spending time in the Victorian Schoolroom being taught in the manner of a real Victorian class, Dunce's hat and cane included!
Here is a selection of photos from all three classes.
