As a small school we have established strong partnerships with Granta Park Science Park, Cambridge University, Teaching Schools and Alliances to ensure our capacity to improve pupil outcomes is maximised at all levels.
The school celebrates positive values regularly. This helps to ensure that pupils behave well.
Pupils get some of the best personal development opportunities possible. Leaders ensure that everyone benefits from them.
A wealth of exciting experiences and trips helps bring learning to life.

Thank you for taking the time to find out about our school. Our vision for pupils, staff and the wider community is to embrace curiosity and challenge in all that we do. We are a small school with big ambitions for pupils' academic and pastoral outcomes. We pride ourselves on seeing our pupils as individuals and the staff team make every effort to meet their personal learning needs. This is achieved through the expertise of our experienced team in adapting their teaching to encourage everyone to reach their individual goals. We fully understand and embrace the responsibility to prepare all pupils for the next stage of their education. Our work with the outdoors has led us to become a Tall Trees ambassador school and a coordinator school in the National Harmony Project. We are the Primary School represented on the Primary Science Quality Mark stakeholder board.
The school has a maximum number of 140 children, split over 5 classes. This means we are experienced in teaching mixed-age group classes and make the most of the opportunities this presents. Each year we are able to offer 20 places in our Reception cohort. Our Leadership team are committed to maintaining a single age Year 6 class of 20 pupils to ensure each pupil is properly prepared for the next stage of their education journey. Feedback from our feeder Colleges, as well as independent schools, evidences how well prepared our pupils are with this personalised approach to Year 6.
